• New benefit for Educational Institutions interested in enriching their historical and cultural knowledge.

• Educational experiences, co-designed with teachers, which promote the development of competencies of the National Basic Education Curriculum in their students.

Enjoy a unique and enriching educational experience at the El Brujo Archaeological Complex. We offer a new benefit* for Public and Private Educational Institutions of Basic Education (*A maximum 120 students per day at different hours - Monday to Friday) throughout the region of La Libertad. In this adventure, students and teachers will be able to immerse themselves in the rich culture of the place, exploring 14 thousand years of history in one place and accessing an interactive and memorable learning experience. The experiences can be previously designed in coordination with teachers for the development of competencies associated with the National Basic Education Curriculum (CNEB).

The El Brujo Archaeological Complex synthesizes the entire history of the men and women who have inhabited the northern Peruvian coast during the last 14 millennia. In this process, the flowering of the Mochica culture (200 - 800 A.D.) takes on special importance because of the artistic skill and technological knowledge achieved during that period.

In the site museum of El Brujo you can see a sample of the objects revealed by the archaeological excavations. Here rests the mummified body of a personage that is iconic for Peru, the Lady of Cao, in a surprising state of preservation.

Moreover, in El Brujo you can visit various huacas and archaeological sites, such as Huaca Cao, Huaca Cortada and Huaca Prieta.
