The Wiese Foundation announces the third edition of the "School and Identity" Fair, an educational and cultural event that will take place at the El Brujo archaeological complex next Sunday, October 6, 2024.

The School and Identity Fair is a key initiative of the Wiese Foundation, aimed at strengthening the link between education and culture, celebrating the learning of students, teachers and members of the Ascope community, in La Libertad. This event brings together the educational community, master craftsmen, wise men and women, and all the members of the area of influence of the El Brujo archaeological complex, who, with their work and insight, allow the knowledge, preservation and dissemination of our cultural heritage.

Purpose of the Third "School and Identity" Fair

Escolar

The Third School and Identity Fair seeks to disseminate the learning projects developed by students from 14 schools in the province of Ascope, within the "School and Identity" project. This initiative is an integral part of the Wiese Foundation's Educational Quality Program. The fair highlights the achievements and efforts of students in their proposals for projects, recovering the historical and social memory, promoting their cultural identity, as well as improving the quality of education in the region. As in previous editions, the fair is held in partnership with the Regional Education Management of La Libertad and the UGEL (Local Educational Management Unit) of Ascope, in line with Goal 4 of the SDGs for the improvement of the quality of education in Ascope.
